Senior Engineer: DevOps Job in Bangalore at Xperi

Xperi is hiring for the role of Senior Engineer: DevOps!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage AWS Cloud infrastructure using Terraform.     
• Manage and deploy Elastic Kubernetes Service clusters.
• Use, and improve existing monitoring and alerting systems and anomaly detections.
• Diagnose high and low-level performance issues in a highly distributed environment.     
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and networks.
• Work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of new features and updates.
• Maintain standards of security, reliability, performance, and quality.
• Research best practices and technologies and implement them into your day-to-day work.
• Maintain/manage Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Daily operation tasks that are coming under change management.
• SRE-level review of the operational procedures and their execution.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with AWS cloud platform 
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers, Terraform 
• Expertise with Linux(CentOS/RHEL, Amazon Linux, etc)  in production environments which includes OS and DB troubleshooting
• Expertise in Python or similar scripting language
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins
• Cloud Certifications (AWS)
• The ability to propose, design, and develop solutions that scale
• Keen troubleshooting skills and practiced agile development methodology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Expert problem-solving skills
