Senior Engineer – Blast Furnace TRT Operation Job in Chandrapur at Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd

Key Responsibilities:

TRT Operation & Process Control:

• Operate and monitor Blast Furnace TRT systems for optimal power generation. 
• Control and stabilize BF top gas pressure, temperature, flow, and dust parameters. 
• Coordinate with Blast Furnace operations to ensure smooth TRT functioning. 
• Analyze TRT performance data and improve energy recovery efficiency.

Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance:

• Monitor turbine, generator, gearbox, lubrication, cooling, and auxiliary systems. 
• Identify abnormalities and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance. 
• Support start-up, shutdown, and emergency operations of TRT systems.

Energy & Performance Optimization:

• Maximize power generation and minimize energy losses. 
• Track energy KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Safety, Health & Environment (ISO Compliance):

• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 safety standards and procedures. 
• Follow ISO 14001 environmental guidelines related to gas handling and emissions. 
• Participate in HIRA, safety audits, and risk assessments.

Quality & Documentation (ISO 9001):

• Maintain operational logs, SOPs, and checklists. 
• Support internal and external ISO audits.

Educational Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Metallurgical Engineering.

Experience:

• 7–12 years of experience in Blast Furnace TRT operation in an integrated steel plant.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Blast Furnace & TRT process knowledge 
• Turbine operation and power generation 
• PLC / DCS exposure 
• Troubleshooting and team coordination skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• TRT power generation and availability 
• Energy recovery efficiency 
• Safety and environmental compliance
