Target is hiring for the role of Senior Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Work with others to build new product features from start to finish: through conception, research, implementation, and maintenance of front-end apps. For example, you might create the front end for an internal dashboard to recognize specific legal documents coming back to us from a particular state (e.g., Wyoming).
- Help improve performance and reliability or polish existing features. For example, you might make selecting different add-ons on the user sign-up flow that pick their final order easier.
- Build the front-end for internal tools to support simplicity and productivity for the whole team. Internal tools might include tools that help our customer experience team to be able to remove or add extra services to one of our customer’s company accounts.
Requirements:
- Experience in leveraging data science for search relevancy is an added advantage.
- Code used primarily in Kotlin, and Micronaut.
- Experience with Search Engines like SOLR and ElasticSearch
- Experience with vector search DBs like Milvus, Vespa, and Pinecone
- Experience with streaming systems like Kafka.
- Experience with Kafka Streams is an added advantage.
- Experience in query understanding and content understanding is an added advantage.
- Experience in problem-solving using LLMs is an added advantage.
