Senior DevOps Engineer Job in Hyderabad at Procter & Gamble (P&G)

P&G is hiring for the role of Senior DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensuring that development and architecture make sure established standards, including modern software engineering practices (CICD, Agile, DevOps) 
• Collaborate with internal technical specialists and vendors to develop final product to improve overall engineering maturity, performance, efficiency and/or to enable adaptation of new business process.  
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure. 
• Develop and handle CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. 
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention 
• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application performance and reliability. 
• Implement standard processes for security, compliance, and disaster recovery in cloud environments. 
• Support engineering teams throughout its entire lifecycle from development, deployment, upgrade, and replacement/sunset 
• Solve and resolve issues across the application stack, ensuring minimal downtime. 
• Participate in incident response activities as part of the SRE team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field. 
• Validated experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, particularly with Azure cloud services. 
• Very strong practical knowledge of DevOps toolset - code repositories, deployment / test automation, static code analysis (Azure DevOps, GitHub, SonarQube etc.)  
• Experience using modern software engineering practices (code standards, Gitflow, automated testing, CICD, DevOps) 
• Experience working with: Azure, DevOps CI/CD, Terraform, Microsoft Azure DevOps, AKS, Databricks 
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. 
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation purposes. 
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure CLI. 
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). 
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security standard processes, and cloud architecture
