Senior DevOps Engineer Job in Bangalore at SAP

SAP is hiring for the role of Senior DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Participate in project planning, Design, and Change implementation of the nameserver scenario, including automating DNS requests through well-defined APIs for cloud, IOT, IPv4/IPv6, and other technologies.
• Oversee domain-master, host-master and net-master roles.
• Manage registration, operations, and design for SAP’s Public IPv4/IPv6 networks, internal domains, hostnames, and Autonomous Systems.
• Provide consulting to internal teams regarding domain name registration, transfer, and DNS setup including aspects related to marketing, legal, branding, and security.
• Set a first-level support for corporate internal DNS.
• Setup automated process and self-service scenarios 24X7 hour on-call

Requirements:

• Experience with DDI Solutions, with a strong preference for Bluecat, Inflobox or alternative technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Network Protocols (DNS, DHCP, and IP Address management), TCP/IP, Internet, and Routing.
• Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IPAM products in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools relevant to DNS and network management.
• Expertise in Linux and Windows Environment.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a Plus
