Motherson Group is hiring for the role of Senior Design Engineer- Wiring Harness!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop wiring harnesses for medical equipment, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and UL requirements, industry standards, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and product designers, to seamlessly integrate wiring harnesses into medical devices while meeting regulatory standards
• Select appropriate wiring components, connectors, and materials to meet the specific needs of each medical equipment project, considering ISO 13485 and UL compliance
• Create prototypes and perform testing to validate wiring harness designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and make necessary improvements
• Generate detailed engineering documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions, adhering to ISO 13485 documentation requirements
• Work within budget constraints and seek cost-effective solutions without compromising quality while considering ISO 13485 and UL compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in wiring harness design for medical equipment, with a focus on ISO 13485 and UL compliance
• Proficiency in CAD software for designing wiring harnesses
