Senior Design Engineer - Process Management Job in Pune at Atlas Copco (India) Ltd.

Atlas Copco (India) Ltd. is hiring for the role of Senior Design Engineer - Process Management!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage data and processes used in the design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales & Service of Compressor products across their entire lifecycle and the supply chain through PLM & CPQ
• Create feature & feature values in PLM, upload its data in various databases, and then make products available on CPQ.
• Collaborate across all divisional teams (Engineering, Technical Literature, Standard, BPCS, CTS) to ensure a seamless exchange and management of product data and the overall user experience.
• Bring efficiency and success to product development and optimization of processes.
• Oversee global tasks/projects of all new compressors, Dryers, Pumps, Oxygen Generators, and Nitrogen Generators related to CPQ (PLM) and maintenance of existing product ranges.
• Prepare CPQ (Constraint creation, Marketing text, Display image, Default Values)
• Provide continuous support to PLM & CPQ developments and Automation.
• Communicate with the marketing team & Engineering team via video conference and collect data related to the product ranges of various brands within Atlas Copco group.
• Set up the process for the work, and design standard input data sheet for customers.
• Manage planning activities related to work and assign the work to resources.
• Provide training to the customers and explain the functioning of the system.
• Manage PDI/CPQ administration activities in SQL Server.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of industry experience in CPQ
• Variant management in PLM
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Analytical thinking and Problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent in MS Excel and Power BI
