Zendesk is hiring for the role of Senior Data Scientist!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Support the development and execution of data-driven marketing strategies through data analysis, optimizing growth and improving customer experiences.
• Apply statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to improve lead scoring, segmentation, marketing attribution, expansion, and more.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to marketing teams, aligning analysis with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and IT to support the integration of analytics into decision-making processes.
• Assist in ensuring data consistency and quality across various platforms and teams, maintaining accurate and clean datasets.
• Work with data engineering and IT teams to improve data collection and storage processes.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical teams.
• Proficient with SQL and experience in programming languages such as R or Python.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present insights clearly.
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
• Ability to travel internationally 10% of the time.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science,
• Economics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a marketing analytics role within a tech company or startup environment.
• Advanced proficiency in statistical and predictive modeling techniques.
• Demonstrated success in supporting data-driven marketing strategies.Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a data science role with a focus on marketing analytics.
