Sugar Cosmetics is hiring for the role of Senior Copywriter!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Write engaging and thoughtful copy across social, print, video, and digital for diverse projects such as emailers, advertising campaigns, physical assets, web content, sales collateral, PR-related functions, scripts, digital and social ad campaigns, and more
• Ensure the copy is concise, compelling, and aligned with the brand's tone and voice
• Research social trends and suggest innovative and unique ideas that not only align with the brand but also have a potentially viral impact
• Experiment with various AI tools, content platforms, and formats
• Collaborate with the marketing and brand team to develop content strategies that drive engagement, traffic, and conversions. Contribute innovative ideas to enhance content quality and effectiveness
• Use SEO guidelines to write product descriptions and trending articles to increase website traffic
• Collaborate with designers, social media managers, and other stakeholders
• Edit and proofread copy whenever necessary
• Stay abreast of the latest beauty trends
• Maintain impeccable grammar, language proficiency, and attention to detail in all written communications and editorial oversight
• Monitor project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies, taking proactive measures to address any deviations from the original plan and communicating updates to relevant stakeholder

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus
• Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines
• Proficient in conducting thorough research and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the content
• Ability to generate original ideas and adapt writing style to fit different platforms and target audiences
• Proficiency in crafting content for various digital mediums, including email, SMS, WhatsApp, app notifications, web banners, and SEM copies
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and other digital marketing tools
• A portfolio of writing samples that demonstrates your ability to create compelling and engaging content across various platforms
