Meesho is hiring for the role of Senior Content Wrtiter!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Write engaging content for web pages to influence SEO rankingsDevelop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve Meesho's search visibility and organic traffic acquisition.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value target audiences and search terms.
• Optimize website content and technical aspects to ensure strong search engine performance.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and best practices, recommending and implementing new strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Digital Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Account Management) to identify and capitalize on SEO opportunities across Meesho.
• Analyze website traffic data using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to measure SEO performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to the SEO knowledge base by mentoring and training new team members.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in copywriting for search engine optimization proven track record of success in developing and implementing SEO strategies that deliver results
• Experience with keyword research tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) is a plus. Strong understanding of user intent and search behaviour
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the ever-evolving SEO landscape
• Preferred:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, e-commerce environment
  • Familiarity with Meesho's industry and target audience
  • Experience with content marketing and content creation
  • Coding experience (JS, CSS, and HTML)
