HSBC is hiring for the role of Senior Consultant Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Test Management activity for transformational, nontransformational projects. Derive Testing approach to be matched with industrial standards.
• Will require excellent techno-functional skills to ensure the global team are engaged, motivated, and driven.Act as a subject matter expert for junior members of the team
• Engaging all relevant stakeholders to maintain visibility on test coverage. Will ordinarily support across an automation team, and multiple Pods within the DevOps team.
• The role will have global responsibility, often supporting multiple projects/programmes running under HSBCnet
• Analyze, anticipate, and mitigate risk factors and work with the team and stakeholders to minimize risk.
• Keeping the team members motivated and aligned in their work and ensuring quality results at each step within the support scope.
• Work on Transformation activities to reduce manual efforts & Manage automation work allocation
• Actively contributes to a positive work environment. Identifies opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Translate the required course of action into a clear and realistic vision. Monitor complex dependencies and respond accordingly to ensure on-going delivery in line with customers goals.
• Strong experience in managing geographically dispersed team, with experience of leading individuals within a matrix organization. 
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships. Ability to think creatively to drive innovative solutions.
• Ability to multi-task. Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries. Good communication skills, self-motivated and adaptive to change. Good technical, problem solving, lateral thinking, planning and interpersonal skills.
• API testing with Postmen/ RestAssured/ Tosca. Test automation using Selinium automation tool. Candidate is responsible for reviewing and updating the existing automation framework.
• Should work on stabilize the existing regression suit and bring it up to date with latest code base. Provide an informed view into test estimation activity, test metrics by knowledge of the application, domain and testing experience.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge on MT and MX messages like Mt942.940/999, CAMT52/53/54 messages. Working knowledge of Cucumber and selenium required
• Be able to efficiently articulate business flows with Product owner & Business analyst.
• Personality: Proactive and flexible. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. API testing experience with Postmen/ RestAssured/ Tosca
• Experience working in agile with hands on experience on JIRA tool. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and Strong stakeholder management skill
