Senior Consultant Job in Delhi at EY (Ernst & Young)

EY is hiring for the role of Senior Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assisting in client advisory on corporate tax matters including international taxation especially issues about tax treaty interpretation, Permanent Establishment (PE), taxability of cross-border transactions, capital gains taxation as well as on issues related to Indian exchange control regulations
• Advising clients on routine queries related to India tax and regulatory matters for foreign companies having a presence in India (through local office/subsidiary) as well as foreign companies operating from outside India
• Handling client discussions and internal discussions with respective teams for providing end-to-end services to the clients
• Supporting the team in business development and pitching for new clients / new engagements including identifying opportunities, preparation of pitch presentations, etc.
• Supporting in handling administrative responsibilities for clients allocated to you such as engagement letters, internal QRM, filing of client papers, billing follow-up, etc.
• Client Responsibilities: Conduct the engagement in a professional manner and by client expectations and as defined by the terms and conditions of the contract
• Acquiring and demonstrating competence in technical knowledge, and compliance processes by keeping up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities and applying them to moderately complex situations.
• Demonstrating professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work products.

Requirements:

• To qualify for the role you must have Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Experience 2-3 years of experience in direct tax (preferably international taxation)
