Senior BIW Structure Design Engineer Job in Pune at Tata Technologies

Tata Technologies is hiring for the role of Senior BIW Structure Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design of new or existing products, in line with planning, process, legal, and quality targets
• Create complete engineering designs translated into CAD models and create all the associated documentation as per program requirements.
• Tracking and maintaining detailed timing plans for the components/systems
• Identification & Documentation of any non-compliance to design rules
• Conduct/Participate in regular design reviews and escalate issues requiring help from management
• Communicate effectively with Clients, within the team, suppliers, and Other stakeholders
• Support Lead Engineer in Design review, DFMEA to optimize design.
• Component release in PLM System

Requirements:

• Should have experience of CATIA V6 CatiaV5, Surface modelling, 2D creation, Annotation, Product structure
• Candidates should have hands-on experience in Automotive BIW Underbody & Upper Body Components with knowledge of the manufacturing process
• Should know BIW structure interfaces & packaging requirements
• Ability to check and manage clearance to interface parts
• Communicate with the customer on day-to-day activities
• Should have knowledge related to BIW components & Master sections
• Should know GD & T, Manufacturing process
• Should know about BOM management, DMU Management
• Experience on CAD tools - Catia V5, CatiaV6, Teamcenter, Enovia
• PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
• General Engineering knowledge, Automobile, BIW, the strength of material, Materials, etc
• Exposure to design and development environment.
• Exposure to design standards
