Senior Backend Engineer Job at Bitkraft Technologies LLP

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the server side of our web application. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Backend developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Skills Required: PHP/Yii2/Laravel, Stored Procedures MySQL/Oracle/PostGres

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging

2. Write clean code to develop functional web applications

3. Troubleshoot and debug applications

4. Perform UI tests to optimize performance

5. Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications

6. Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic

7. Gather and address technical and design requirements

8. Provide training and support to internal teams

9. Build reusable code and libraries for future use

10. Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features

11. Follow emerging technologies

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Back-end developer

2. Excellent Database design and query building skills; Highly experienced in working

with either of the DB platforms – MySQL/SQLServer, Oracle and MongoDB (no-SQL)

3. Ability to code and develop business logics in the form of DB Stored Procedures and Functions

4. Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure AWS / Azure

5. Highly proficient in at least one or more of the following programming languages –

PHP or NodeJS; working knowledge on Python programming and Python based web frameworks

6. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

7. Ready to try new technologies, platforms and frameworks as required on future projects

8. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

9. Experience in working in Agile projects - with familiarity with tools such Jira

10. An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

11. Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

12. An eye for aesthetics and with great attention to detail for UI/UX greatness

13. Good organizational and leadership skills – should be able to manage and work with a team

14. Outstanding communication skills (oral and written)

15. Previous start-up experience

16. Strong work ethic and commitment to meet deadlines and support team members meet goals
