Blackberry is hiring for the role of Senior Backend Cloud Developer - Cyber Security!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure backend cloud solutions using modern technologies.
• Architect and implement robust, high-performance, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure to support business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop efficient solutions.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems and third-party services.
• Conduct code reviews, provide guidance, and mentor junior developers to maintain high code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize cloud-based applications for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and establish effective deployment and monitoring processes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating and proposing innovative solutions to improve system architecture and performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, identifying root causes and implementing timely resolutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. 
• 2+ Years of extensive experience in back-end development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions. 
• Strong proficiency in the AWS cloud platform, including experience with cloud services like AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS, Elasticache, S3, Kinesis, Kafka, and EKS. 
• Proficiency with C#. 
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, designing and optimizing data storage solutions in the cloud. 
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems. 
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. 
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
