OML is hiring for the role of Senior Associate, Social Media!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop social media page strategies to increase user engagement on brand channels.
• Assist in the creation of digital content for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Conduct research on social trends, benchmarks, and consumer behavior.
• Develop and execute community outreach strategies.
• Implement social media campaigns under the guidance of the campaign lead/manager.
• Plan social media programming based on the marketing calendar, including BAU and festive events.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (designers, copywriters, content creators) to execute campaigns.
• Manage end-to-end social media channels and ensure smooth operations.
• Publish posts on client social media channels in a timely and effective manner.
• Moderate and manage online feedback from fans and clients.
• Engage with fans to maintain brand loyalty through active community management.
• Continuously test and optimize posting times and best practices for engagement.
• Research creator landscapes and local trends to enhance content relevance.
• Negotiate with vendors and content creators to optimize costs.
• Create pitch decks, maintain documentation, and generate reports.
• Brief content creators with clear expectations on deliverables and production.
• Manage client and creator expectations for seamless operations.
• Liaise with support teams (production, legal, accounts) to ensure timely cost sheet approvals, contracts, and billing.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors for smooth financial operations

Requirements:     

• Experience: 2-4 years
• Well-versed with India’s digital content trends and creators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in managing youth-centric brands’ social media pages.
• Prior experience working with influencers and content creators.
• Client servicing experience – ability to manage relationships between brands, agencies, and influencers/vendors.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, formats, and updates.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Presentation skills – ability to present plans to clients and break down briefs for internal teams.
• Basic photo and video editing skills using mobile apps like Meme Generator, Canva, VN, and InShot.
