Puma is hiring for the role of Senior Associate- Distribution Planning!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• The resource will be responsible for planning of distribution and export channel
• Responsible for end-to-end planning of distribution & export channel.
• Prepare a business plan for the channel, set net sale and GP targets for BU, and FCs in collaboration with the sales team
• Provide OTB based on the sales plan, ensure adequate inventory is planned for sale, and avoid understocking/overstocking in the channel
• Track season execution at the customer level and highlight distributors with low pre-order execution so that the sales team can take corrective actions
• Review customer-level inventory and stock blocks to improve the efficiency of stock offering thereby improving net sales & execution%
• Work together with sales and buying in placing the optimal value as buffers (non-pre-orders) to secure the net sale target while ensuring scalability
• Identify pockets of non-movers and slow movers and release them to other channels to improve company sales
• Maintain and circulate reports on the stock requirement, supply phasing, execution%, billing, and returns
• Analyze PO vs execution, and effect next year's purchase based on the insights

Requirements:

• MBA/B.Tech from reputed institute with 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent writing, presentation, communication, and organization skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Analytical and Numerical skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work based on business importance
• Willingness to learn new technology/tools as required by business
