Senior Associate - Accounting Job in Bengaluru at CSC

CSC is hiring for the role of Senior Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Review and posting of Journal entries and other bookkeeping activities
• Prepare and review of management accounts and its schedules
• Prepare and Review of Financial statements (including Consolidation if required) and annual statutory financial reports as well as monthly/quarterly financial reports for clients
• Assistance to Internal and External Financial/Compliance auditors
• Adhere to SOPs and TAT for all activities
• Understand financial statements preferably with some audit background
• Work closely with onshore colleagues who will co-ordinate with external parties such as accountants, law firms, and tax advisors 
• Handle various client queries in a timely and professional manner 
• Coach, train, and guide junior /new joiners in the team 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or CA Inter (with minimum 3 years of relevant experience) or Qualified CA fresher (with minimum 1 year experience) 
• Possess a strong concept of book-keeping and GAAP / IFRS standards
• A good team player, independent, meticulous, proactive, attentive to details, self-motivated, and able to adapt to new challenges and with excellent communication skills 
• Proficient with preparation, review, and control checkpoints on financial statements
• Potential to lead and guide team
• Proficient in Excel/MS Office 
• Risk identification and process lean
• Proficiency in accounting software- BCE
• Knowledge in accounting for Holding companies, dividend accounting and intercompany loans
• MIS reporting
