BNP Paribas is hiring for the role of Senior Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Reconcile valuation and material trade terms trade data with counterparties in compliance with the compliance set forth by EMIR regulation.
• Research and identify the cause of the breaks.
• Work with the appropriate party to amend the breaks.
• Evidence of the cause of the breaks and its resolution.
• Manage and monitor dispute investigations and escalations.
• Ensured that OTC trades, Valuation, and Collateral were reported to the Trade Repository (DTCC).
• All Nacks/Rejections are actioned and resubmitted to DTCC
• Reconcile the DTCC position with the Client position to ensure that all positions are in line.
• Escalating exceptions to the appropriate processing team for resolution.
• Reporting of exceptions in line with internal control and external client requirements.
• Contributing to the team's success.
• Actively involved in terms of having frequent checks in terms of activities in SOPs and ensuring timely update of Procedures in the Global portal within expiry with completeness
• Extended error check in terms of identifying any errors/ incidents such as ensuring notifying the reporting manager in terms of a complete write-up of the incident within 24 hours post error occurrence.
• Actively involved in terms of training new joiners in the team. Ensuring end-to-end training of process flow, logic, and BAU activities, and specific activities as per requirement.
• Should be able to independently carry forward any formalities in terms of onboarding any new Clients, for the existing process. This involves all the details relevant to services provided, any exceptions, relevant static, and contact details.
• Should be able to come up with training plans based on the designation/ experience and expertise of the trainees
• Should know end-to-end steps involved in terms of Daily/ Weekly/ Bi-weekly/ Monthly/ Quarterly/ Annual MIS analysis and presentation and the expertise ability should assist the management in case of any communication or follow-up in the future. 

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required.
• Experience of operations in a Fund Management, Custody, or Hedge Fund environment.
• Extensive experience of working within Derivative operations.
• Thorough understanding of all Derivative product classes.
• Proficiency in communication should be witnessed in terms of independent working/ understanding details and assisting in terms of decision making/ Easy to convey / No compromise in professionalism.
• Education Level: Master's Degree or equivalent
• Experience Level: At least 3 years
