Genpact is hiring for the role of Senior Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conducting reviews on alerts generated for transaction monitoring or screening alerts in Sanctions, Adverse Media, and Politically Exposed Persons.
• Conducting open-source searches to find relevant information to complete the investigation and review.
• Performing due diligence on documents provided by the customer as per the bank’s policy and guidelines.
• Capturing information and documents from internal systems/teams as per established norms of the bank on KYC documentation per policy.
• Initiating and coordinating client outreach to fetch client documentation.
• Conducting false positive analysis on matches identified for counterparties alerted during watchlist, sanctions, and adverse media screening.
• Mitigating or calling out true hits for AML adverse concerns and collaborating closely for further action.
• Interacting closely with customers/businesses as an SME in the area of AML/Compliance.
• Ensuring adherence to critical metrics and business SLAs.
• Being responsible for preparing and reporting their SLAs.

Requirements:

• University graduate in any field.

Preferred qualifications:

• Relevant work experience.
• Sound business communication skills (in English) are a must-have.

Preferred skills:

• Experience in CDD/EDD of clients for Investment or Retail Banking, including periodic review/KYC refresh.
• Ability to conduct detailed investigations in Adverse/Negative Media and Transaction Surveillance/Monitoring.
• Sound understanding of Sanctions, PEP, and other watchlists, which is required to perform the core job for alert adjudication by the bank’s policies.
• Ability to independently research, analyze, and recommend solutions to close open items and discrepancies.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC controls including front-end systems, applications, data sources, and back-end controls.
• Experience with tools like World-Check, Banker’s Almanac, Actimize, RDC, Lexis Nexis, Dow Jones, and regulatory databases such as FINRA, Company House, and other local regulators and company registries.
• Exposure to AML with Institutional clients/Investment Banking and products.
• Understanding the requirements of CDD, EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence), and CIP (Customer Identification Program) to ensure compliance with the regulations.
• Good experience in MS Office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
