Senior Analyst - Python Job in Bangalore at GlobalFoundaries

GlobalFoundries is hiring for the role of Senior Analyst - Python!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Project design, impactful task planning and managing change to improve processes. 
• Key power user for Advanced Planning and reporting tools (PBI, Kinaxis, MES, Oracle, SAP) to develop analytics to highlight demand and supply gaps. Using KPI to drive performance. Advanced proficiency in Python required.  
• Manage supply bills of materials and associated change mgmt practice – expertise that can be cascaded into up and downstream processes. 
• Oversee and govern BPO operations to meet stringent service level agreements and deliverables. 
• Work closely with multiple GlobalFoundries functions across multiple time zones in order to solve problems. This will require the flexibility to participate in events outside of typical work hours. 
• Provide value-added analysis with speed, completeness, and integrity of revenue data and information. 
• Participate and lead in Global Foundries-wide improvement projects. 
• Continuous improvement/re-engineering of business and planning practices.

Requirements:

• Proficient in using Python / PySpark programming for data manipulation, data visualization, and machine learning models with good hands-on experience
• Proficiency in any one of the Cloud solutions – Azure, GCP or AWS
• Proficiency in SQL for data preparation, manipulation, and descriptive analysis
• Proficient in the supply chain domain
• Excellent written and oral communication skills Good to have: Experience in Simulation and Optimization
• Visualization packages like Tableau / Power BI
• Exposure to tools like BY/ Anaplan / o9 / Kinaxis / SAP IBP • Exposure to Client interaction
• Exposure to business platforms (o9 / Kinaxis/BY)
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree from a recognized University in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering / equivalent Informatics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management
• Ability to work independently and be detail-oriented
• Knowledge of Power BI, MES, Oracle, SAP, and Strong MS office skills will be beneficial
