Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis Job in Gurgaon at Mastercard

Mastercard is hiring for the role of Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Support the financial close process through variance analysis against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, and key business drivers.
• Review and provide thoughtful business-driven commentary to management teams.
• Support the development of the annual plan/budget and forecast cycles; ensure accurate data upload into Hyperion.
• Manage, develop, and update standardized financial reporting packages including business metrics/KPIs.
• Identify and communicate revenue risks and opportunities; respond promptly to ad-hoc information and analysis requests.
• Develop presentations and analysis for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and quarterly operating reviews (QORs), as well as ad-hoc presentations.
• Provide relevant financial analytics and business insights to support Mastercard strategic plans; develop robust tracking mechanisms.
• Apply strategic understanding of business dynamics and competitive forces; support business in formulating mitigating strategies.
• Execute financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools for analysis and modeling; review and suggest changes to financial systems.
• Investigate and create opportunities for automation and efficient methods of creation and delivery.
• Assist other finance business partners as needed.
• Support special projects as they arise.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant, CPA, or MBA Finance.
• Experience in financial roles with advanced knowledge of financial planning and management.
• Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and financial systems/applications (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle).
• Understanding of reporting, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of success in a team environment.
