Senior Analyst, Data Engineer Job in Gurgaon at Mastercard

Mastercard is hiring for the role of Senior Analyst, Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Designing data models that define the structure, relationships, and constraints of data entities
• Defining data integration - how data from different sources and systems will be integrated and transformed to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to develop a data strategy aligned with business goals and needs.
• Establishing data governance policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Designing data systems that can scale to handle growing volumes of data while maintaining performance
• Managing metadata (data about data) to provide context and understanding of data sources, definitions, and lineage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in Computer Science (Engineering) or any other relevant specialization.
• Strong proficiency in big Data Architecture & technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, HBase, Python & R, etc.
• Solid understanding of data processing and storage concepts
• Ability to design scalable and efficient data architectures
• Own continuous integration / continuous deployment of automated pipelines
• Design and deploy client-side and server-side architecture
• Attention to design, detail, and user experience
• Nice to have: familiarity with low-level languages, ci/cd pipelines, advanced R, and Quarto languages (R, Python, Julia, Observable.js)
