Merck is hiring for the role of Senior Analyst/Analyst_Biology_Digital Marketing!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Research, evaluate, develop and optimize scientific and marketing content for the company’s Life science product portfolio. The content will be used on the company’s e-commerce website to attract more visitors, help the customers make their purchase decisions and enhance the user experience. 
• Create/optimize the website pages content (Product Detail Pages, Category, Campaign, Application, Service pages, etc.), product data/attributes Scientific content like Application notes, Technical Articles & Protocols, Q&A (UGC), etc. 
• Collaborate with the Digital & e-Commerce team, Product Managers, Marketing Communication teams, etc. to drive the projects 

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in any life science stream with 1-3 years of experience in Product Information Management, Web Data Management, e-Business, Product Management Support, or Scientific Content Writing.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Digital Content Writing, e-Business, or Marketing Communications.
• Strong English writing skills with a proven track record of producing high-quality scientific and/or marketing content for a global audience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the marketing funnel and customer buying journey.
• Familiarity with the Life Science industry and broad knowledge of the customer base.
• Good understanding of buyer personas.
• Experience with digital marketing and SEO tools such as SEMrush and Google Analytics.
• Proven ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Analytical skills with a basic to intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel; comfortable with data analysis and dashboards, including performance dashboards, sales reports, and market insights.
• Experience in working with AI tools for generating and optimizing user-centric content.
• Familiarity with data science concepts and tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is an added advantage
