Merck is Hiring for the role of Senior Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• On-time PR to PO conversion.
• Good understanding of Procure to Pay cycle, Order management, RFQ Process & Supplier management.
• Follow up with vendors for timely order acknowledgment, expedite, de-expedite, cancellation, and past due recovery dates, and ensure timely system updates.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to process timely goods receipts and payments to the vendors.
• Ensure timely resolution to escalations and share preventive measures.
• Support or identify improvement projects to build efficiency & productivity.
• Ensure to keep updated vendor material master.
• Good at managing complex vendors and high volume.
• Manage, build, and maintain supplier relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain or 2-5 years of work experience in planning, inventory, and/or purchasing with ERP/MRP systems.
• Technical proficiency with appropriate procurement systems and analytic tools.
• Knowledge of MS Office packages (outlook, word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Should be able to handle suppliers.
