Senior Accountant Job in Gurgaon at Optum

Optum is hiring for the role of Senior Accountant!

Responsibilities of a Candidate:

• Processing monthly chargeback (billing), including journal creation, journal posting, and preparation of invoicing
• Providing monthly end estimate with commentary against the prior month, forecast, budget, etc. for assigned models and line of business
• Supporting the various OGA finance functions with invoicing and billing reports and dashboards
• Managing customer relationships and providing a high quality of service when collaborating on customer queries
• Assisting with review and enhancement of current processes to reduce turnaround time, leaning into technology and automation to achieve
• Complying with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Requirements:

• Experience with system integration, recognizing interactions between systems in a methodical and systematic way
• Solid finance/accounting skill sets and working within a complex organization structure 
• Good understanding of cost structure and inter-segment relationships
• Good Analytical Skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Solid accounting skills and understanding of complex organization cost structures
