UST is hiring for the role of Semiconductor Product Validation Associate I!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Complete the assigned test grid without deviation from given test steps
- Determine product failures and report them in the test repository and bug tracker
- Find 'out of the box' product issues
- Learn technology business domain system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account
- Execute Adhoc scenarios as required
- Manage Project:
- Perform task deliverables with quality
- Target completion timeframe
- Document:
- Create documentation for own work
- Status Reporting:
- Report the status of tasks assigned
- Comply with validation standards/process
Requirements:
- Good understanding of SDLC & STLC process: Knowledge regarding different types of testing methodologies
- Computer hardware and components operation skills
- Ability to execute Ad-hoc scenarios
- Ability to work with Windows OS flavors and installation
- Ability to work with BIOS drivers and various display protocols
- Ability to perform and evaluate test results against product specifications
- Ability to estimate effort time required for own work
- Ability to perform and evaluate tests in the customer or target environment
- Work in a team environment
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
