Flipkart is hiring for the role of Seller Operations Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Seller Management: 
    • Working closely with the regional Seller/Partner base to build and grow their business on the platform
    • Working with sellers and Marketing team to drive on-ground activities
    • Develop and deploy incentives/commissions for sellers
    • Resolving seller and customer issues
  • Seller Operations:
    • Own the terms of Operations with the Seller partner to plan, track, and improve on the operations metrics like O2A (Order to Approval), Breach, SLAs, Customer Promise etc
    • End to End ops and business management for the channel partners with internal stakeholders like
    • Supply chain, product & technology team, Accounts etc
  • Planning & Trade Marketing:
    • Sales planning and Forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis
    • Making growth plans at the seller level and defining the roadmap to achieve the same
    • Develop and drive programs to improve key shapeable metrics for the platform
    • Impeccable in-store presence and promotional campaigns to drive seller effectiveness and sustainable sales growth
  • Program Management:
    • Coordinate with stakeholders across functions to enable support for the channel and programs
    • Close working relationships with on-field sales teams and driving adherence to processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in field sales and/or Retail/Franchise management in FMCG/Telecom/other GT-heavy industries, with a major focus on Rural Channels, General Trade
  • Possess Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities
  • Possess exceptional relationship management skills & interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of delivering tangible results within their respective functions
  • The ability to work comfortably with ambiguity, keen interest in data-driven insights for growth, and like to work with a variety of stakeholders are important
  • Should be very data-centric and responsible for enabling real-time intelligence to the channel partners based on data analysis on Customers, AOV, Sales, New collection, Lapse customers, Shopping behaviour etc
