Accor is hiring for the role of Security Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Acts as an ambassador of the venue ensuring its safety for all guests and employees.
• Ensures all security staff is in compliance with Security Department and Company policies and procedures, and all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
• Trains, counsels, and coaches the Security Host team when needed in the performance of their job responsibilities.
• Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and assist other team members when the opportunity arises.
• Communicate with management, VIP hosts & service staff to rectify any and all customer needs, comments or incidents.
• Works cooperatively with all other departments to ensure efficient Security support services are provided as needed.
• Adheres to all established policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Patrols the outside and inside perimeter of the property, ensuring that reports are made to the Director of Security if there is a potential safety issue.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures; and restraining trespassers.
• Minimizes opportunities for loss or damage, anticipating potential problems, reacting to disturbances and prohibited conduct.
• Responds to emergency situations as needed to provide necessary assistance to employees and guests.
• Prepares written reports.
• Watches alarm systems or video cameras and operates detecting/emergency equipment
• Performs first aid or CPR.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Follows procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the venue teams.
  • Communicate with employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
  • Remains calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy restaurant activity, serving as a role model for the team and other employees. Interact with other department personnel and venue staff as needed.
