Securities Specialist Job in Hyderabad at UBS

UBS is hiring for the role of Securities Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Be part of the Securities Settlements teams in Hyderabad/Pune.
• Manage tasks such as trade matching, settlement investigation, CSDR penalties, buy-in management, reconciliations, escalations, and query handling.
• Collaborate with teams to identify root causes of issues and propose/implement process improvements.
• Escalate exceptions appropriately and coordinate resolution delivery with relevant stakeholders.
• Support Corporate Actions processing and Client teams across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Hyderabad.
• Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment to provide top-quality client service.

Requirements:

• Freshers with a degree in accounting, finance, or related fields (CS, BTech, Analytics, etc., also considered for specific roles).
• Understanding of front-to-back trade flow and experience in a settlement's function is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and processes or relevant academic subjects.
• Clear communication style with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Awareness of escalation processes and a pragmatic, "can-do" attitude.
• Innovative problem-solving skills and familiarity with automation tools (advantageous).
• Willingness to work in any required shift and under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and accountable with a focus on continuous self-improvement.
• Both client, and risk-focused with proven ability to pay attention to detail
• An enthusiastic and dedicated team player who can collaborate across functions to deliver results
• Highly responsible, self-motivated, efficient, and able to work under pressure.
