Securities Settlements - Analyst Job in Hyderabad at Goldman Sachs

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Monitor settlement activity and ensure securities are in the right place at the right time.
• Oversee firm inventory to ensure it is moved or converted to facilitate settlement.
• Collaborate with the trading desk on securing borrows to facilitate settlement.
• Resolve queries and interact with the trading desk and clients on failing trades.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies of positions (cash and securities) in the firm's books and records.
• Complete daily checklists, ensuring all controls, procedures, and processes related to assigned functions are followed.
• Act as a change agent by solving problems at the root cause and identifying opportunities to automate flows.

Requirements:

• Exceptional client service and relationship-building skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Strong control focuses on a results-oriented mindset to ensure risk is mitigated.
• Degree or A-level education preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines with zero tolerance for errors.
• Ability to escalate issues promptly and communicate clearly.
• Flexibility to work on projects and assist other team members as needed.
• Work experience in Securities Settlements, Inventory Management, trade support or securities middle office role for 1 to 2 years.
