Inmobi is hiring for the role of SDET II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts. 
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans. 
• Execute automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of software products. 
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve issues. 
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and testability. 
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development process. 
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability and scalability. 
• Mentor junior SDETs and provide technical guidance on best practices in test automation and quality assurance. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
• 3-5 years of experience in software development and/or test automation. 
• Proficiency in Java programming languages. Python knowledge is a plus. 
• Strong knowledge of mobile application testing. 
• Strong experience with Mobile test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, JUnit, TestNG). 
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). 
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). 
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git). 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Battery Historian, profiler, etc). 
  • Knowledge of security testing practices and tools. 
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
