SDET- Automation Engineer Job in Pune at Nutanix

Nutanix is hiring for the role of SDET- Automation Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Test and assess the disaster recovery features of Nutanix's product.
• Create test cases and scenarios to evaluate the functionality and performance of the DR solution.
• Develop automated tests to optimize the verification process.
• Implement robust functional test automation with high-quality automation code.
• Conduct end-to-end system testing of the product to replicate customer scenarios and qualify the product for release.
• Identify, document, and communicate bugs, issues, and areas for enhancement within the DR solution.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to determine the root causes of failures.
• Contribute to the overall quality and reliability of the disaster recovery feature.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in BE/BTech/BCA/MCA/ME/MTech or equivalent.
• Possess 1-3 years of experience in Software QA Engineering.
• Have expertise in Software Development or Test Automation using one of the following programming languages: Python, Perl, C, C++, or Java (Python is preferred).
• Demonstrate a basic understanding and operational knowledge of Linux and/or Windows.
• Showcase prior experience in Functional and System testing of mid to large-scale deployments.
• Exhibit proficiency with distributed software systems in the domains of computing, Storage, or Network virtualization.
• Display strong skills in debugging complex distributed applications.
