Newton School is hiring for the role of SDE + SME - Computer Networks!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Curriculum Design & Delivery: Develop, structure, and deliver high-quality course material and labs in Computer Networks
• Hands-On Labs: Design and manage lab sessions that reinforce theoretical concepts through hands-on experience
• Academic Mentorship: Guide, support, and mentor students in both academic and career-related areas
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with university and Newton School stakeholders to align curriculum and student outcomes with industry needs
• Ownership of Student Success: Take responsibility for ensuring student engagement, understanding, and overall success
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends to continuously refine teaching content and approach

Requirements:

• Minimum 0–4 years of hands-on experience in Computer Networks
• Proficient in Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting
• Clean coding practices and ability to demonstrate practical coding knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of Operating Systems and Networking fundamentals:
  • OSI & TCP/IP models
  • Protocols: TCP, UDP, IP
  • Firewalls, VPNs, encryption (SSL/TLS)
  • Process scheduling, multitasking, memory management
• Exceptional communication and teaching skills with the ability to break down complex technical topics
• Willingness to relocate and work full-time from Sonipat campus
