SDE 1 - Backend Job in Bangalore at Jar

Jar is hiring for the role of SDE 1 - Backend!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Translate problem statements into actionable using relevant data structures and algorithms.
• Gain an understanding of computer science fundamentals with a knowledge of concepts in operating systems, computer networks and whatever you need to deliver the most efficient experience for the user.
• Write code with good hygiene, focusing on naming, modularity, and reusability. Document code effectively.
• Understand product requirements efficiently. Clarify technical requirements proactively and break down simple tasks.
• Show urgency in resolving bugs and production issues. Actively participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) exercises with high ownership.

Requirements: 

• 1+ years of experience with technologies like Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and other server-side technologies, etc.
• Experience building and scaling applications on public cloud infrastructure (Docker, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Mesos, etc.)
• Experience with building fintech products, good Open source contribution
• A Background in Computer Science
• Exposure/Experience in developing a Loan Management system (LMS)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
