Scrum Master Job in Pune at Avaya

Avaya is hiring for the role of Scrum Mater!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Serve as a servant leader and coach for Scrum teams, ensuring adherence to Agile practices and values.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) and create a safe environment for open communication.
• Partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs and ensure alignment between business priorities and delivery goals.
• Identify, track, and help remove impediments, enabling the team to deliver consistently and predictably.
• Promote adoption of metrics and feedback loops that improve team performance and value delivery.
• Encourage experimentation, learning, and integration of AI-driven tools into planning, estimation, and delivery workflows.
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Support alignment of Agile delivery with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring high-quality, timely releases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical dependencies, integration points, and platform scalability within Avaya’s CX-focused solutions.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar).
• Proven experience guiding teams through all Scrum ceremonies and Agile practices.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience supporting software development teams, ideally in SaaS or CX-related platforms.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Familiarity with JIRA (or similar Agile lifecycle management tools).
• Experience with or interest in AI integration into Agile planning/delivery is a plus.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe SSM, or equivalent) preferred.
