Google is hiring for the role of Scaled Abuse Analyst, Trust and Safety, YouTube!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform fraud and spam investigations using various data sources, identify product vulnerabilities, and drive anti-abuse solutions.
• Work with engineers and interact cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders to improve workflows via process improvements, automation, and anti-abuse system creation.
• Manage technological solutions for streamlining quality assurance and produce scalable training solutions for emergent workflows.
• Apply statistical methods to data sets to understand the impact of abuse on the YouTube ecosystem. Contribute strategy and development of new workflows against additional known vectors of abuse.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience managing partnerships with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.
• Experience with data analytics.
• Experience in programming and use of analytical tools (e.g., Python, R, Jupyter notebooks) for data analysis, experiment design, and precision analysis for automation.
• Experience with consultative problem-solving and project management.
• Knowledge of high-level products and policies to inform judgment and justification in determining the presence/absence of abusive behavior and justify a proposed course of action.
• Ability to translate analytical insights into business strategies and actions.
