Applied Materials Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the role of SAP Variant Configurator Modeler!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Review, maintain, control, and release Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), encompassing Master Engineering Documentation, original drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and related documents.
• Oversee Engineering Procurement (eCart) processes, managing and releasing prototype-level Master Engineering Documentation, including drawings, markups, BOMs, and specifications.
• Manage and control master files within the Product Data Management (PDM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all documents and adherence to release policies.
• Control master data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, involving the creation and updates of Material Masters, Bills of Materials, and
• Change Masters in line with established policies.
  Supervise CAD data promotion in Pro/Intralink to ensure synchronization with released data in PDM.
• Provide support to the Engineering community through Number Book, eCart, and ECO training, addressing inquiries via the PDM hotline, emails, and phone calls.
• Test new functionality in PDM, ERP, and other Engineering systems to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
• Develop and maintain ISO procedures, SAP scripts, Configuration Management's Work Level Instructions, and Best Known Methods (BKMs).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 4-7 Years of professional work experience is required.
• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in the designated discipline.
• Possesses basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Familiarity with best practices in the field and an understanding of how the role integrates with others.
• Awareness of market competition and factors that distinguish Applied Materials.
• Proficient in solving complex problems.
• Approaches challenges with a new perspective on existing solutions, exercising judgment based on analysis from multiple information sources.
