SAP MDG Technical Consultant Job in Bangalore at Global Foundries

Globalfoundries is hiring for the role of SAP MDG Technical Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and customize SAP MDG applications using ABAP programming language.
• Design, Configure, and Implement SAP MDG solutions as per industry best practice.
• Able to do FIT-GAP analysis using SAP Activate methodology.
• Design custom features and engagements in SAP MDG to meet complex business requirements.
• Good Understanding of Solution Manager and SAP CHARM process.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency in master data domains.
• Troubleshoot resolve complete issues related to master data governance.
• Worked on both S/4 and ECC.
• Design and implement data models, validation rules, and user interfaces for SAP MDG solutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing for SAP MDG solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP MDG applications.
• Perform detailed data driven Analysis, Design, Testing and documentation of MDG implementations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data governance needs and develop strategies to address them.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's / Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in ABAP Development and SAP MDG
• Hands on experience in SAP MDG configuration and customization
• Must have hands on knowledge of MDG configurations, BRF+, Workflow and UI modeling
• Able to work on Entity types, define attributes and structure for Customer, Supplier and Material master
• Proficient in ABAP programming and FIORI developments
• Strong knowledge of SAP data models and data governance concepts
• Working experience in SOAMANAGER, IDOC Configuration and Webservices
• Experience with SAP integration technologies such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
