Medtronic is hiring for the role of Sales Representative I!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Achieve sales targets in terms of product units and revenue and increase total company market share in the assigned territory
  • Support in creating and implementing an annual business plan with quarterly updates
  • Ensure coverage of all accounts based on customer segmentation within the territory in agreement with the manager to maintain the optimum level of exposure
  • Maintain and expand existing businesses and develop new ones
  • Seek new customers and formulate and follow up plans for such action as directed by the sales manager
  • Work with existing key centers to develop and implement strategies to move accounts toward the center of excellence for Suture Solutions
  • Develop sales strategies and execute them within the sales force effectiveness model
  • Conduct the required training for new accounts on all therapies
  • Sell specified therapies to surgeons, institutions, payers, and other medical staff
  • Provide coverage and case support for the wound closure portfolio in the assigned territory
  • Conduct customer in-services for new and existing accounts
  • Develop relationships with surgeons and hospital administration staff to ensure both clinical and non-clinical needs are identified and met
  • Develop ethical, positive, long-term customer relationships

Requirements:

  • B Pharma/B.Sc (Any Sciences)/BE
  • MBA would be preferred
  • Computer literacy includes sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
  • At least 1–4 years of sales experience in a technical and dynamic environment
  • Experience in delivering health-related in-service or similar type training and education
  • Proven sales and negotiation experience
  • Success in developing new markets
  • Experience in making multiple sales calls on a daily basis
  • Willing to travel extensively
