JW Marriott is hiring for the role of Sales Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative.
• Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
• Developing relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
• Managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Providing accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management.
• Participating in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
• Executing and supporting the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).

Requirements:

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues
• In-depth knowledge of the Indian market and its nuances
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking to drive sales growth
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Familiarity with local laws and regulations governing the sales industry
• Experience in managing a team and developing sales strategies
