Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth and increase market share for health insurance products.
  • Set ambitious sales targets for the team and monitor performance. Take proactive measures to ensure targets are met or exceeded consistently.
  • Stay updated with market trends, customer needs, and competitors' activities. Use this information to identify potential business opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and partners to expand the company's customer base and improve customer retention.
  • Continuously evaluate the sales process and identify areas for improvement to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance analyses for the management team. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical practices in all sales activities.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the health insurance products offered by the company and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
  • Conduct sales presentations to potential clients and explain the features and advantages of the health insurance products.
  • Work with the senior management to allocate resources effectively and manage the sales department budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role within the health insurance industry.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • In-depth knowledge of health insurance products, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in insurance or sales management will be advantageous.
  • A self-motivated and result-oriented individual with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business needs.
