Nordson is hiring for the role of Sales Manager!

Requirements of the Candidate:
- Proactively seek and identify growth opportunities within the assigned Top Customers, Potential Top Customers, and Strategic Accounts. Fulfill these growth opportunities with our Top Products.
- Log all opportunities in the Sales Pipeline tool and update information on a weekly basis such that accurate forecast information is available for management to review at any given time.
- Proactively meet customer needs with Top Products, and where necessary, creatively migrate customer needs from Bottom to Top Products.
- Draft and provide project quotes to customers.
- Align efforts with Field Service technicians in India to ensure good communication and follow-up provided to customers.
- Oversee and manage the India Sales and agent network to ensure each group identifies key opportunities in their respective territory and fulfills their annual bookings target while delivering profitable growth.
- Participate in Team meetings and share information about your Top Customers, new applications, new competitive information, new trends, etc.
- Actively seek information about our competitor's products and services and feedback to our Product Development team. Use the information to develop differentiating value-added propositions.
- Actively look for ways to simplify your tasks. Beginning with customer need, proactively guide the customer towards a more simplified, less complex solution that will provide less complexity in our manufacturing, reducing lead times.
- Define and implement tactics to increase our company’s share-of-wallet at each of the assigned Top Customer.
- Plan regular visits to assigned Top Customers to discuss the state of the business and plan how to achieve the budget plan.
