Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients through various sources such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct persuasive and professional sales presentations to showcase the hotel's offerings, highlighting its unique features, amenities, and benefits to prospective clients.
  • Manage existing client accounts, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships to encourage repeat business.
  • Skillfully negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to close deals successfully. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals tailored to the specific needs of the clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify areas of opportunity and enhance the hotel's sales strategy.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Regularly track and report progress to the Sales Manager.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the hotel, such as marketing, operations, and events, to ensure a seamless experience for clients and leverage cross-selling opportunities.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, conferences, and other industry-related events to generate leads, network, and promote the hotel's brand.
  • Utilize a CRM system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and potential leads.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and continuously enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably in the hospitality industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and secure profitable contracts.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and other events as required.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
