Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to assess their insurance requirements and analyze their current coverage. Identify potential risks and determine the appropriate insurance products to mitigate those risks.
- Recommend suitable insurance policies and coverage options to clients based on their risk profile and insurance needs. Explain policy terms, conditions, and premiums to clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their coverage.
- Collect and review insurance applications, verifying accuracy and completeness of information. Evaluate applications against underwriting guidelines and company policies to determine acceptance or rejection of coverage.
- Proactively contact clients to discuss policy renewals and make necessary adjustments based on changes in the client's circumstances or insurance requirements. Assist clients in renewing policies and updating coverage as needed.
- Must have field sales experience of minimum one year in any industry(BFSI, FMCG,PHARMA etc.)
- Keep abreast of industry developments, changes in insurance regulations, and emerging risks. Continuously enhance knowledge of insurance products and market trends to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
- Adhere to insurance industry regulations, policies, and ethical standards. Ensure all activities and documentation comply with legal requirements and maintain client confidentiality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a sales or customer service role.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and underwriting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and build relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and make informed insurance recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage client information, policies, and documentation.
- Proficiency in using insurance management software, databases, and MS Office suite.
