redBus is hiring for the role of Sales Executive!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Act as an ambassador and representative to promote positive relationships and strong partnerships for the benefit of the organization.
    • Drive the development of strategic business and financial plans, in alignment with overall corporate goals.
    • Take the lead in the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods and practices across the organization.
  • Operational Efficiencies: 
    • Achieve overall sales of the region (Including Travel Agent Partners & Distributors) and monitor performance (Individual & Overall) on a daily basis.  
    • Do Implementation, feedback and coordination on various promotional & Incentive programs launched by the product team.
    • Ensure credit control and adherence to KYC norms as per company policy.
    • Assist in the implementation of Promotions and below-the-line activities in conjunction with the Business Head for new acquisition of customers across segments.
    • Identify and develop new markets (Tier 2/3 cities) in the region to drive the business targets of the region  Work closely with the inventory team to activate bus operators as agents / maintain price parity both online and offline and bring in the best pricing and commission to the B2B channel.
    • Develop a good mix of retail agent base for bus and bus hire bookings.  
    • Coordinate and follow up with all cross-functional teams.  
    • Strengthen relationships with existing/new business partners & other relevant stakeholders.
  • Continous Improvement: 
    • Develop innovative initiatives to enhance internal efficiencies and effectiveness.
    • Maintains awareness of new and emerging trends in the B2B segment.

Requirements: 

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand complex products and explain in simple language user basis situations  
  • Customer-centric and able to manage multiple priorities  
  • Pleasant action-oriented personality with career orientation Good command over Local language and English
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree required, (MBA is preferred)
  • Experience Minimum and Maximum: 1-3 years of experience in B2B Sales, channel sales, Dealer handling
