Sales & Estimation Engineer Internship in Mumbai at Arrow Electricals India Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
• Analyze project requirements, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Research material, labor, and equipment costs to create detailed pricing models.
• Ensure all estimates align with company profit margins and client expectations.
• Develop comprehensive and competitive bids, quotations, and tender documents.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to finalize technical and financial proposals.
• Address client queries regarding proposals and provide clarifications as needed.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve the company’s competitive position in the market.
• Work closely with project managers, design teams, and finance teams to ensure alignment of estimates with project scopes.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and sales activities in CRM systems.
• Generate periodic reports on sales performance, win/loss ratios, and estimation accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales and estimation, preferably in [industry-specific field, e.g., construction, manufacturing, IT].
• Strong understanding of estimation software/tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP, Bluebeam, or others specific to your industry).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
