Volopay is hiring for the role of Sales Development Representative - IND!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and build strong sales pipelines by scanning for business opportunities.
  • Make outbound prospecting campaigns (emails, cold calling, social selling) to generate leads for local companies.
  • Set up meetings to understand customer needs and concerns and gather key prospect information.
  • Generate interest and bring in successful customers, often utilizing product demos and presentations.
  • Supply management with reports on customers & sales.
  • Prepare concise and accurate reviews with sales & financial data.
  • Negotiate/close deals, and handle complaints or objections.
  • Collate inputs of client feedback and present them to the team and management.
  • Share your best practices and benefit from those of your colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are required for this position, which will interact with diverse levels of business and global stakeholders.
  • Keen interest in conducting research coupled with sensing new changes in the market and evolving new strategies.
  • Ability to build/nurture/grow a strong network of people and channels (internally and externally) for lead generation.
  • A team player with a knack for adapting quickly, problem-solving, and multitasking.
  • Commercially savvy with the ability to exercise discretion with respect to dynamic
  • information about the business.
  • Preferably has done B2B sales in the past - payroll, expense management, and procurement software.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software, Drip campaigns, and LinkedIn scrapping tools would be a plus.
