MarketStar is hiring role of Sales Development Representative!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead Generation
  • Identify and research potential customers using tools like LinkedIn, CRM, and databases.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling.
• Outbound Prospecting
  • Reach out to prospects via phone, email, or social media to introduce the company’s products/services.
  • Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
• Lead Qualification
  • Ask the right questions to determine if a prospect is a good fit (using frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC).
  • Schedule meetings or demos for Account Executives.
• CRM Management
  • Log all interactions, update contact information, and track pipeline progress in a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing to follow up on inbound leads.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to pass qualified leads and provide necessary background.
• Performance Tracking
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly quotas for calls, emails, and meetings booked.
  • Analyze and report on lead generation activities and results.
• Continuous Learning
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not always required)
• 2-5  years of sales or customer service experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with cold calling and rejection
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated
