Pixel is hiring for the role of Sales Development Representative!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Lead generation across priority sectors such as principally within agriculture, extractive industries, forestry, environmental sectors
  • Research and collect information to create, clean, scrub, and/or augment contact lists for Pixxel
  • Prospect global customers (both private sector and government) and setting up discovery calls
  • Facilitate and lead introductory calls with customers to pitch the Pixxel value proposition and satellite data specifications
  • Research strategic accounts in-depth to identify revenue opportunities and build comprehensive account maps to support the closing process
  • Build and maintain customer relationship management database (Hubspot)
  • Utilise outreach tools such as Reply.io, Apollo and ZoomInfo
  • Equip sales personnel with pre-meeting notes and meeting context based on secondary research so they are best prepared to succeed 
  • Achieve meeting quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives
  • Assist with light marketing duties such as webinars
  • Prospect for customers that fit the ideal customer profile and set up discovery calls for the sales team to meet them
  • Create outreach campaigns to target new leads  

Requirements:

  • A self-starter with a proven track record of success and tenacity as an SDR
  • Ambitious to meet and exceed targets and ultimately outgrow this role
  • Objection handling with difficult customers
  • Comfortable with multi-channel outreach (Email, Linkedin, WhatsApp)
  • Collaborative and willing to engage with people from all departments of Pixxel (commercial and technical teams) to learn about the product and pitch it to customers
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities
  • Ability to multitask and deliver high-quality work in a time-bound manner
